Our Charter
“The purpose of The Gallery Theatre shall be to provide educational, cultural, and recreational benefits for the public by the preservation, maintenance, and the administration of the historic Richard Theatre on Main Street in Ahoskie, North Carolina, as a center of live theatrical performance for the Roanoke-Chowan area and as a center for arts and cultural advancement for all persons.” (from “The Gallery Theatre, Inc. Volunteers are the backbone of all arts organizations. Do you have a talent or skill which could be used in the theatre? Complete the Volunteer/Friends Form to contribute to the Friends of the Gallery Fund Drive, to get more information about volunteering, or to register to be a part of the Stage Craft Productions and Gallery Players.
